DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Band Together\, a special musical celebration performed by Bude Metric Brass\, joined by guest players from brass bands across the UK.  This unique gathering brings musicians from far and wide to share a single stage\, united by a love of brass band music\, friendship\, and community spirit. \nThe theme is unity\, heritage\, and the joy of making music together.  The programme is full of familiar melodies shared across generations\, music that brings people together emotionally\, a sense of celebration\, pride\, and community and a couple of pieces that are simply great fun to play as a large\, combined band. \nThe 2026 programme is a rich mix of classical favourites\, folk melodies\, musical-theatre hits\, stirring marches\, nostalgic tunes\, and uplifting original works for brass band.  From the sparkle of Offenbach’s Can-Can to the power of An American Trilogy\, and from the intimacy of Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again to the fun swagger of Fat Bottomed Girls\, this concert showcases the full colour and character of the modern brass band. \nWe’re sure you’ll enjoy the variety\, craftsmanship\, and sheer joy of making music together that Band Together represents. \nWe hope you’ll come to the concert\, so thank you for supporting live music and for being part of this special event in February 2026.  All profits are donated to charity! \nTICKETS:  £12 in advance via VisitBude or £15 on the door
